So, after many days of hard work that consisted of painting, scrubbing furniture, cutting holes in the ceiling, and running wiring so that we could have a ceiling fan (thanks to my Dad and Adam for that) the nursery is finally complete!! We have washed all the clothes and unpacked all the things that we thought were necessities for the first few weeks (ok maybe the first few months) of life for our new little bundle of joy. Now we are just awaiting her much anticipated arrival.
To give you a brief update on our progress. We had our first weekly appointment on Friday and all went well. I am having tons of Braxton-Hicks contractions and a lot a crapping, all really good signs that my body is doing what it needs to prepare for labor. Maggie is also moving a little further south each day, another good sign. I won't go into any graphic details for those of you none medical people who get grossed out but I am also making other progess. So all this to say that we are hopeful that she will come very close to her due date. According to Adam, that would be the day before or in the early morning hours of the day of the Super Bowl but not during.
We thank you all for your gifts and for your help in getting us prepared for Maggie's arrival!!!
