I know that this is probably a duplicate for most of you but I wanted to make sure that we had as many people as we could praying for Adam. So I am sure that most of you received this email already. Sorry if you have! But for the people that I missed in the email or not have your email address this is for you (well really for us).
This is a BIG prayer request!!! Adam is scheduled to take his National Boards this Wednesday, that's right in two days, at 8am. We just got his approval package in the mail yesterday and they only offer the test on Wednesdays at the testing center. So you ask why the rush to take it this Wednesday. Well, there is a committee at the hospital that meets once a month to review the applications and test scores of all those that they are hiring that month and they meet on the 15th of January. Adam has to take his boards in time for them to receive his scores or he can not start his job on the 26th of this month. Our prayer request is first that Adam pass his national boards this Wednesday!!! That's the big one. He is absolutely capable of passing them as long as he does not let he nerves get the best of him, he is really nervous. Also, we are very ready for him to be able to stop studying and enjoy the time off that he has before he starts his job. He is in need of a break, we all are. The other request is that the committee at the hospital receives his scores in time. This is mostly because Adam does not want there to be too much lag time between the end of school and the start of job so that he is still comfortable with his clinical skills (and well, to be honest so that we will have an income).
Sorry not to update you on our Holidays but I will post about that later this week. This test is the big thing on our hearts and minds at the moment.
