I need new parents!

I am sure these days that is exactly what Maggie is thinking. Maggie is crawling faster and faster every day and beginning to walk along the edge of things that she pulls up on. Well, the more mobile she becomes and the more skills she develops the more injuries she sustains. Over this past week she has figured out how to climb (low objects) and each day brings a new booboo. She finally fell off the daybed in her room, backwards I must add. I have to take total responsibility for that incident! The next day she fell down the stairs. Earlier in the week she watched Adam walk up them and she was dying to follow him so she proceed to climb up them. She made it up four steps before she pleadingly looked up at me and asked for me to carry her up the rest (since then she has conquered them). A few days after she discovered she could climb the stairs she quickly slipped away from Adam and climbed up two steps to grab one of his shoes and fell backwards before he could get to her. And now she's cursing around with her first black eye. That's right my soon to be eight month old has a black eye. Another daybed injury! There are a few pillows on the bed that she loves to climb on, she laughs the whole time she's trying to climb up them, well when she got to the top her hand slipped and she hit her eye. We didn't know it was her eye until the next day when I noticed that right below her eyebrow was purple.

A few weeks ago we put a baby gate at the top of the stairs but we were having problems finding one that would fit at the bottom of the stairs, it wasn't a big deal since Maggie didn't know how to climb. Needless to say this past weekend we made a trip to Babiesrus to get a gate for the bottom. And in the next few days we'll probably child proof a few cabinets before she discovers how to open them.

The first thing that Maggie climbed, into the dishwasher. She was so proud!

At least it was a clean sock.

On Saturday we meet up with the Colville's, Jester's, and Aunt Suz at Monkey Joe's. MJ's is just for kids with all these blow up slides, etc... We took Maggie down several slides and they even had one that was small enough for her to go down herself. We're not sure if she enjoyed it or not. She would only smile and laugh at the end of each slide when she would see our reactions. But we had a great time hanging out with everyone. Emily and Jake couldn't get enough of the slides, they were so cute.

My first blueberry pancakes.

They were really yummy!!

Maggie's so amazing! I can't believe she's so mobile! Maybe being a big sister is helping her grow up fast! :) Her pictures are adorable.

Those pictures are great. It looks like she is really developing her own playful personality - I love it!

Is Maggie really "cursing" around with a blackeye? Haha! Just had to point out that pregnancy typo...Or maybe she really is cursing! :)
Love the pics! She's getting so big!

I am so glad we got to see ya'll this past weekend. I had a great time and can't believe how big Maggie is getting. She is too sweet! (well, you and Adam are too but at this point in the race, Mags is winning!)
