Maggie is officially 1 week and 4 days old! It amazing at how fast the days fly by when all you do is feed, eat, change diapers and watch a sleeping baby. Being new parents has brought many new challenges our way but with the Lord's provisions we are facing them. Our biggest fear is caring for a new born in the middle of flu season, especially with how rampant it is this year. Maggie is sleeping in longer and longer chunks through out the night, this is truly a blessing that her Mommie is thankful for because I value my sleep way to much. She is also a champ at chugging some milk, another trait that she must have gotten from her mother seeing how no glass of milk is safe around me. But with each passing day she looks more and more like Adam so she has to at least have some of my characteristics or habbits.
We can not even began to tell you how precious she is. Between all the feeding and pooping it's all we can do not to smother her with kisses and hugs. Our favorite time of day is in the morning around 9 or 10 when she is awake for about an hour. We love to spend that time speaking in silly baby talk to her and just staring at each other. She makes the funniest little faces and noises.
We finally figured out how to share vidoes with you so here are a couple from the hospital and her first week home.
Adam's parents, GG and Grandpa, brought up Maggie's great grandparents, Mom and Pop, and her Great Aunt San on Saturday. With all the love that Maggie is going to get there is no way that she is not going to be totally rotten. But what are grandparents and great grands for!!!
