The Girls

Overalls Day. So cute!!

Over the past few weeks we have really seen Mags imagination start to come alive. She loves to feed her dolls and stuff animals, diaper them, and push them around in her stroller. This is so precious to watch!
Mary Beth, Charley and Eli came over last week for a play date. It was so fun to have everyone together and watch them play together. Poor Eli nearly got trampled a few times by Emma. She just wanted to bouncy with him in the bouncy seat:)
The Monday after Thanksgiving we headed to Chesnee to cut down our Christmas tree and bring it home. Maggie had the best time running around the little Christmas tree farm. She was a little confused to why we cut down the tree and put it on top of our car. Both the girls have loved having it in the house and checking out all the ornaments.

Mags first at home hair cut. We took her to Jelly Beans for her first cut but since then it has closed. I just haven't made the effort to find another place that cuts kids hair. Adam and I just couldn't take the mullet anymore. She was frustrated the whole time and would not let us cover her with a towel which caused more frustration because the hair was itchy. After several trims we finally got it pretty straight. The girls are growing up so fast. Maggie's imagination is starting to grow and it's amazing to watch. She has also said her first three word and four word sentence. Her first three word sentence was "miss you Grandma". She was on the phone with my mom when she said this, I'm pretty sure I heard a tear in my mom's voice. Her first four word sentence was "come here Lola Bear". Aunt Sam and the pups came up to visit us this weekend and the girls were so excited.

Emma took her first two independent steps last Wednesday. She tries several times a day to take a step by herself. It probably won't be too long before she's running around after Mags. She started waving this past week. She waves at everything and everyone! It's so cute you can't help but laugh. She is starting to pick up sign language too. She can tell us all done when she doesn't want any more to eat. She doesn't always mean it but its a start.

Mags is 22 months today and Emma turned 10 months yesterday. I can't believe their birthdays are right around the corner.
