Summer Fun

Our good friends John, Alison, and Joshua came to visit a couple of weekends ago. We had a great time catching up and hanging out with them. Joshua and Maggie had so much playing together,they are only 5 weeks apart. They were too cute following each other around and playing with the same toys. We bathed all the kids together and after we took Emma out Joshua and Maggie went crazy splashing. I think we were all wet by the time they got done. It was so precious.
Unfortunately the weekend ended with the start of colds. After they left we spent the next 14 days wiping noses, and treating ear infection. But needing some extra hands and extra hugs was a great reason to head down to Troy to stay with GG and Grandpa. We started our days with a bike ride, spent our afternoons exploring every inch of the yard and swimming, and our evenings begging for Grandpa to call up the horses and riding the tractor. Maggie even got to go for her first horseback ride. It was a great way to make us all feel better.

She is rolling all over the place. If you put her down on a blanket and walk away for a minute when you get back she is likely to be no where near the blanket. She loves to situp and play but she still has a bad case a round bottom syndrome. Maybe by 6months she'll be able to situp on her own. We are eating oatmeal and had our first taste of veggies last night. Yummy!

She turned 5 months old today!! I can't believe how fast the time is flying by. She is so precious! Her little personality keeps us smiling.
