Where to begin...

Since our last post we have closed on our new house and moved in. We are completely unpacked and settled with the exception of hanging pics and a few other little things. I'm in no hurry to take on any other projects and probably will wait several months before I even think of starting any of them. Thanks to everyone that helped us move and unpack in a whirlwind weekend. We love our new home and are looking forward to making some great memories in it over the next several years. The girls spent the week with GG and Grandpa and Aunt Amy while we tackled this mountain. I missed them so much while they were gone but it made it so much easier and they had a great time being spoiled for a whole week. Over the last several weeks we have just been hanging out in our new home and exploring. One of the best parts of our move is our new friends!! The family that is renting apartment until the lease is up is great. Our friends Mary Beth and Donald connected us with their friends Elizabeth and Philly and their sweet little girls. Elizabeth and Philly are missionaries that hoping that God will lead them into the field by the new year and they needed a bigger apartment for their family. We have really enjoyed getting to know them and are looking forward to spending more time with them.

Now on to the girls. I do not even know where to begin they are growing so fast.

Mag's is now 18months old. She just had her well check up and she is 24 lbs 10 oz and 31 3/4 inches tall. She's growing like a weed. She talks (babbles) all the time. She knows lots her body parts and can says lots of animal sounds. Every day she tries saying new words. She has made up her own word for water, lala. I'm not sure where she got that from but it's really cute. She has also become a master climber and can climb almost thing in her sight. She can climb up on our bed which is really high and she can climb into the crib with Emma, who loves it when Mags gets in with her. Thanks to her new climbing skills we have changed her crib into a toddler bed. For about the first week she took all her naps on the floor in front of her bedroom door. She's doing really well now and actually takes all of her naps in bed. She has only fallen out a couple of times at night. WHAT A BIG GIRL!

Emma is now 6 months old and also had her well check up this week. She is 17 lbs 12 oz and 27 3/4 inches tall. In the last 2 months she has grown 3 INCHES! CRAZY! She is eating apples, pears, sweet potatoes, sweet peas (not her favorite), carrots, avocados, bananas, and oatmeal. She loves eating food, makes her feel like a big girl like her big sister. She always tries to grab Maggie's food when we are eating lunch. She has been sitting up really well for the last couple of weeks and can now get up on her hands and knees and rock back and forth. It will probably be only a few more weeks before she's crawling. She is dying to follow Maggie where ever she goes. She loves to grab faces and is still full of smiles and giggles. She has had two ear infections this summer, with in four weeks of each other. The last infection spread to both ears and took two rounds of antibiotics to clear up, poor Emma. We are hoping and praying that this is not a trend with her and that she won't have to get tubes.

We have some fun adventures planned over the next couple of months. We are going to Charleston for a week to spend some time with Aunt Sam, Uncle J, Wes, Kelly, and Noah. AND to celebrate Adam's 30th birthday!
We have our first camping trip with the girls planned for September and a trip to Pawleys.

Sorry there are no pictures but we don't have Internet yet. I'm babysitting for Mary Beth and Donald and thought I would give you a quick update. I'll post some pictures when we're up and running, hopefully by the end up the month.
